Questions people ask before calling
How do I pick a good barber?
Look at photo reviews of cuts similar to yours, and check whether the shop takes walk-ins or requires booking — it tells you how busy they are.
How much should a cut cost?
Prices vary by city, but most quality cuts fall in a pretty tight local range — call two shops and compare.
Do I need an appointment?
Many shops take walk-ins, but the best barbers book out. If you want a specific barber, call ahead.
What should I tell the barber?
Bring a photo of what you want. ‘Short on the sides, leave the top’ means different things to different people — a picture doesn't.
