Questions people ask before calling
What can I check before I call someone?
Make sure the thermostat is set to ‘cool,’ the breaker hasn't tripped, and the air filter isn't clogged. If those are fine, call a pro — it's likely a refrigerant or electrical issue.
How fast can someone come out in Murrells Inlet?
Many HVAC shops in Murrells Inlet offer same-day service when the system isn't keeping up. Call in the morning.
Is it worth fixing or should I replace it?
If the unit is over 10 years old and the repair is pricey, ask for a replacement quote too — a good shop will give you both.
Can I keep running it while I wait?
If it's blowing warm air, shutting it off is usually kinder to the system. If it runs normally otherwise, low risk — but don't wait days in a heat wave.
